I can’t think of a more Italian flavour for desserts then chocolate, hazelnuts and coffee. Torta di caffe' e nocciole simply means coffee and hazelnut cake. It's a proper teatime cake full with delicious flavours. The cake is not very sweet. The combination of fresh brewed coffee and finely chopped roasted hazelnuts make this cake a real subtle dessert. The coffee buttercream frosting is smeared on the cake for a rustic look.
